MEET THE TEAM

Matt - Matt is a passionate nature enthusiast and our lead guide. He is strongly connected to the local area having grown up in Byron Bay and spending most of his life here. Sharing his knowledge of the local animals and habitats, he is also a dedicated wildlife rescue volunteer and trained non-venomous snake handler. His dream is to make a more peaceful world by reconnecting people with nature and raising awareness around environmental issues and positive impacts, so that we may preserve our precious wild areas for generations to come.

With his decades of experience exploring the local area you will be in safe hands on an experience that is a change from the typical tours.You will intentionally and mindfully connect with nature as Matt leads you on a magical journey with every tour. Matt is also an experienced Kayak Tour Guide, currently working in Byron Bay with Go Sea Kayaks for 5 years, conducting tours on the ocean and in the Brunswick river. He is an avid birder, and has had some crazy wildlife encounters throughout his years, and he is always happy to tell a story!

Daisy - Shining like the Sun, Daisy takes pride in sharing her passion and knowledge of Australia's diverse eco-systems and environments, flora and fauna. Her interest in indigenous cultures, wildlife photography, outdoor adventures, hospitality, eco-tourism led her to become a tour guide. Daisy is open-minded and shares her personal experiences with the aim of inspiring others to meet their life-potential. 

When she isn't running tours for National Geopgraphic, or Soul Connect Nature Tours,  she lives off-grid in a 4x4 self-converted camper van, enjoys a minimalistic lifestyle and time spent in nature. A tour with Daisy is always an entertaining adventure.
